Will your straws bend or break?
Our stainless steel metal straws are rounded at the tips to avoid sharp edges, so they are perfectly safe for use. However, unlike plastic straws, metal straws will not bend or break. Unlike glass straws, if they're dropped they will
not shatter or break. It’s important to remember that they are not as flexible as single use plastic straws during use. Proper use of our straw is important however; for example, if you fall on them they may bend.
What impact do your straws have on the environment?
Over 5 trillion pieces of plastic currently litter our oceans.
500 million disposable straws are used each day. Plastic straws are made from an oil based product (a non-renewable fossil fuel) and have devastating effects on our marine life.
Our stainless steel straws are durable and can be reused over and over and over again! This makes them a better choice for the environment in comparison to single-use plastic straws. If these straws ever reach the end of their useful life,
stainless steel is the most recycled material on earth.
Many people have been inspired by campaigns to reduce plastic waste and switch to more sustainable alternatives. Ordering a stainless steel straw today means you've taken action towards reducing your carbon footprint, and saving our marine life and planet.
